Cafe Virtuoso is a Local Artisan Coffee Roaster. Focusing exclusively on high-end and Organic certified coffees and Teas, you can not find a better cup in San Diego. Many of San Diego’s most exclusive restaurants and coffee shops feature coffee from Cafe Virtuoso. The Roasterie is open to the public and you can watch coffee being roasted, get involved with “coffee cupping”, enjoy a cup or get beans to take home!

History

Established in 2007.

Owners Laurie started roasting out of Laurie’s garage in 2007, one pound at a time…literally. In 2008, she moved their operation into Barrio Logan, a neighborhood full of creative artists and up-and-coming architects. Café Virtuoso focuses on wholesale roasting with an emphasis on certified organic 90+ point coffees and high end teas.
