In June of 2014, Giyeong took her passion for coffee and started her dream of opening a cafe. Believing that artisan coffee should not only be quality but also should come in quantity, hence “Big Mug” was born.
Coffee cupping, or coffee tasting, is the practice of observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee. Not being satisfied with the coffee beans being supplied commercially, she started roasting green beans herself. Blending her own house blend and single origin beans to extract the very best tasting notes from a variety of green beans from around the world. She personally cups every batch of roasted beans to ensure a quality product.
Freshly roasted single-origin beans can be ordered online Monday thru Friday and will be available for pickup at the store the following Tuesday.
