Specialties We are a coffee growing family since 1865 and have a coffee roasting facility in Los Angeles. Our Coffee house is a community hub for Progressive idealist and free thinkers. we are community, sustainable and live with the Espresso Revolution Come and join us for some genuine Antigua coffee, Organic teas and our award winning sandwiches. We started in the community of El Sereno on famous Huntington Drive in 2005, our lease was short. After receiving the best of LA awards for “Best Coffee house 2007″ things began to change and we lost our lease in 2008. Our next plan was to open up in Cypress Park, Los Angeles. After many delays out of our control and a whole new management, we reopened in September 2009 in this beautiful side of town. many others have tried to mimic our model, the Original Antigua Coffee House is alive and well in Cypress Park (90065). We are dedicated to Community and Progressive causes, we are the Espresso Revolution. Meet the Business Owner Yancey Q. Business Owner Yancey is a coffee roastmaster and barista/ connosiuer. He has traveled throughout Mexico and Central America on the olde stomping grounds of the ancient and modern mayas to grow and cultivate coffee plants. He comes from a direct relationship of long time coffee growers and operates a coffee farm in Guatemala. He graduated from Cal State Los Angeles with a degree Social Science with an emphasis in Community Redevelopment in the inner city. He believes coffeehouses are community centers for people to organize, meet up and create a brighter future, while enjoying a highly delicate coffee bean. He is a community organizer and member of the newly formed Cypress Park Community Chamber of Commerce…”Moving Forward”.  Yancey lives in Cypress Park and is the spirit behind the Espresso Revolution.
