Cafeina Cafe first opened their doors on April 20th 2019. Cafeina is owned by a native San Diegan and raised in the neighborhood of City Heights where Cafeina is currently located by the name of Andrew Benavides. As soon as you walk in you can sense the warm vibes and culture that inspired Cafeina to be today.

Cafeina Cafe first opened their doors on April 20th 2019. Andrew is a native San Diegan who was also raised in the neighborhood of City Heights where Cafeina Cafe is currently located. As soon as you walk in you can sense the warm chill vibes, notice the art work and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere. Andrew was a barista for 3 years where he found his love and passion for coffee. Andrew worked in the medical field for about 4 years as a aspiring nurse who now transitioned to a full time business owner. He has rekindle his passion for coffee and created his dream which is now Cafeina Cafe. Andrew was born on November 2nd which lands on a well know holiday Dia De Los Muertos(Day of the dead) where he got his inspiration to create a theme with the similar concept. Now he can share a little bit of his passion with the community of City Heights.
