Specialties EST 2012. We are San Jose’s purveyor of carefully sourced, crafted, and roasted coffees, with radically close relationships to our producers and growers. Black coffee and hand poured coffees are our most popular beverages served. Whole bean coffee, seasonal blends and a bunch of single origin offerings throughout the year. We focus on cup quality, and quality of life, the pride associated with producing something you’re proud to share. Our influence of flavor development isn’t just in the barista’s and roaster’s hands, but also with our green buyers’ who are experimentally developing new methods or overseeing proven methods to coax out even more nuance and character. In October of 2012 Chromatic Coffee Company opened its doors for the first time: a roastery in a tin shack warehouse on Sunol Street, and a beautiful little cafe in Santa Clara. In 2013, the roastery moved from Sunol Street to 19 North 2nd Street. In January 2018, the roastery moved to 460 Lincoln Street. (Back to Midtown where it all began!)
